There's two endings (well, rather a "special ending scene"), the game takes 3 hours to complete unless you rush it and the story is pretty nice.
I never buy games at full price, I got it for like $5 I'm pretty sure. For that price it was definitely worth it. I don't recommend buying games at full price nowadays, most of the games are overpriced. Games go on sale all the time.
Shouldn't you own the game before saying things like "this game isn't worth it."?
Also, I wouldn't say it has a heavy story. The game is mainly about the adventure, not the plot itself.
I agree, but that is one of the reasons why I think the game is a bit expensive. I expected more "discovery" gameplay, but the only gameplay were the choices you made along the way and I hardly experienced what the consequences of those choices were.. Gonna try and replay to see if the story would be different, but to me it felt like I was just clicking through a short story with the plot revealed in the very last minute.
I can't really speak about the price because steam games are very cheap in my country, but 20 dollars seems insanely expensive.
If you're referring to the previous post, all games are 4-5 times cheaper in some countries (Russia, Argentina, etc).
As for the game, I think buying it for half price might've been too high if you were looking to get it for cheap (I got it maybe 1/4th of the price from a bundle). But, $20 for a fully voiced point&click game is not a "baffling" original price. Edna & Harvey, Adam Wolfe, even Fran Bow, they're all of similar prices, all point&clicks and all of them are from different companies.
OP needs to quit whining and learn what a scam is
Also, this game barely has any voice actors, and one of them is already the creator so I don't know if she had to pay herself to voice act. The soundtrack is fine, but I wouldn't call it fantastic. Personally I can't remember any of it's songs. Though I have to agree about the artwork and animations.
I think this game is obviously not a scam and I understand that it costs a lot to make games like this, but it still feels overpriced to me. I was lucky steam games are extremely cheap in my country, so in my case I don't feel like I wasted my money (I got the game on january for the current equivalent of 1.5 dollars). But I can see people who paid more being dissapointed. The main problem is that the game promises players meaningful choices, but the game doesn't actually have any.
this game is fun with ok voices but far too easy and good music and good personal
but for 5 eur 100% just fine :)
will even give the game 6/10 which is not bad
