Oh, and stick near the Heath chargers.
Nah the boss is pretty easy if you know what to-do, kill the first two enemies then make a mad dash over to a switch that are locationed west, north, east. Once you destroy one you just have to dodge the lazers, I would also stand on a pillar as right after that attack a massive wave of energy will be released (if you can't get onto a pillar when it happens then go to the armor points, it will keep you alive if you use E on it).
Do this 3 times and then you fight main Vortgaunt, just keep ahead of him and get ready to get behind a wall when he charges up his attack. Just remember to keep healing and never get close (his shield will kill you). Honestly the only part I die on doing this fight is the lazers, they will one shot you in most cases (or almost one shot you). I find this fight enjoyable and not too hard but not too easy.
edit: godmode and all of my smg ammo did the trick i guess...
I could throw one in there for v2.
Would probably nerf the lazer attack and the energy wave, both hits like a truck and come very quickly. Overall I find the boss in the right spot of difficulty, I don't find the Vort at the end tankly at all and the armor rechargers always gave me enough hp to get throughout the entire battle (even if I got hit by a lazer once and mess up by getting hit a good amount of times by the final Vort).
don't know how difficult that would be, though.
