That's also why Breath of the Wild had the Sheika Tablet even in the Switch version, it was supposed to be for the Wii U pad.
1. Shadow the Hedgehog (Uncensored/Uncut remaster. Graphics based on Xbox version)
2. Sonic P-06 (i.e. Fixed New Sonic with improved levels, better adventure field design and the ability to replay levels from such ala SA1, rebalanced gameplay, a proper New Game mode as was dummied out of the original, new levels including optional secret ones replacing the side mission system etc. some of which as seen in the P-06 demos)
2A. Sonic 2006 (Original New Sonic with problems intact, to come as a free download alongside Sonic P-06 for a laugh as if to say "aren't you glad the game doesn't handle like this anymore?" Similar to System Shock 1's modern remaster/sourceport coming with the original DOS game with the horrid controls)
3. Sonic World Adventure Unleashed (rebalanced port of World Adventure's 360 version ala Better SA1DX or SA2 Battle -which should at least involve changing the medal system and having all adventure fields connect naturally like Sonic 2006 & SA1 without a map screen- with toggles for the unchanged gameplay for purists. PS2/Wii version as an extra or DLC optional)
4. Perfect emulation for SA2 Dreamcast to go with SA2B, Dreamcast graphics and special effects intact.
5. Sonic Heroes & Riders (Based on the Xbox & PC versions together, with Zero Gravity being PS2)
6. GBA Classics: Sonic Advance Trilogy, Pinball Party, Battle -not to be confused with SA2B- and Pocket Adventure (Advance 2's special stage system needs serious rebalancing, Advance 3's chao hunt system replaced with simply clearing the zone to unlock the special stage spring keys and the Pocket Adventure special stages need a complete overhaul)
7. Sonic R remaster (with a lot more tracks and music, some closure to the overarching story Quantum Redshift, Lego Racers 1+2, Mad Dash or Diddy Kong Racing style, mod and custom track support and bonus tracks based on other Classic Sonic levels like in SRB2, both retail and cut tracks e.g. Genocide City, Cyber City (the Good Future version of the former), Spring Stadium, Wing Fortress etc. and graphics based on the Saturn version crossed with the improvements of the PC one, like PC mods can provide)
8. Sonic Rush Duology (remaster of both games with full voice acting in both Japanese & English with the original cast instead of rare mute cutscenes & glorified puppet shows, 3D Adventure fields replacing the map screen/Southern Island point N click menu, like the 3D hub area in Sonic Jam on Saturn, which can extend to the sailing too if they can get away with it, get rid of the horrible side mission system in Rush Adventure, replacing it with secret levels ideal Sonic P-06 style and make the Johnny race special stages suck less)
9. Sonic 3D Flickies Island Saturn Director's Cut (Straight port of the Saturn/PC version with its own Saturn specific edition of the Director's Cut mod, Saturn graphics effects intact and with a toggle to switch between the Saturn & PC special stages like in NiGHTS)
10. Knuckles Chaotix
With the exception of the Riders games, basing them off the PS2 versions wouldn't be ideal either seeing as those versions also lacked several graphical effects while also having worse frame-rates and load times than the other versions, Shadow especially.
They'll never remaster Sonic R, especially since there's TSR and that R wasn't made by Sega themselves.
Finally, instead of just Chaotix, having a full Sega CD and 32X compilation would be nice.
I know. That's why I said the Xbox versions would be a base, with only Zero Gravity having a PS2 one as that game didn't have an Xbox port.
