Someone is remaking Sonic 06 from scratch in Unity

Debugged with decent changes to the original like Iblis catching Sonic if you're too slow in Crisis City (with slightly nerfed car throwing to make it fair)? Sign me the hell up.

this is an interesting idea as the original game was ambitious but the dev team got sliced in half and didnt have the time to finish it and while fans have atempted to port the levels into generations it has a massive flaw with sticking too close to the original level design without acomadating for generations gameplay

How is the development going by the way? I.e. when is it coming out because I really want to play this game now. The Kingdom Valley demo and the Sonic World versions of Wave Ocean and Crisis City can only do so much to tie me over.

There's a "demo 2" (released yesterday or the day before yesterday), which features 100% less Kingdom Valley, but 100% more Dusty Desert.
