it installs fine and the launcher for it works, but nothing happens when I try to run it, through the launcher or game exe itself.
It wanted me to use admin privilages even though I am the admin, but when I set the exe and the launcher both to run as administrator, it did not change a thing.
Proof?
As Long As They Fix All The Problems The Original Version Has....
SEGA said that Sonic Colors is in high chance of PC porting, Sonic Heroes in "possible" and Unleashed needs to see if its even worth talking about porting it. In my opinion SEGA should place a lot of focus on porting the great and good Sonic games for pc, They NEED to port Sonic Advance 1-3, Sonic Rush, rush adventure, Sonic Heroes, Unleashed and especially Colors. in lower priority port Sonic Riders, the game gear Sonic games, Sonic boom fire and ice and a remastered version of Shadow the hedgehog (like make the missions less frustrating and don't make it obligatory to play the first level like 6+ times)
Don't forget the "Reignited" 2006. I mention that they could include developer commentry for both the main game and the "classic mode" to shed light on the real issues the original had.
The remastering should also fix the issues too like someone brought up on that same topic:
I don't think they would actually care for Sonic 2006, a port for that game would be almost a complete waste of time and money because the game already has a bad reputation. I would buy a remaster version of Sonic 2006 tbh, with all the fixes and stuff it would feel more "finished"
But then again, going back to 06 is pointless, I bet a remake would harldy sell anything
Don't be too sure of that. As an example. despite Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness getting thrashed in much the same way as Sonic 2006, quite a lot of that series' fans still like it because they can dodge any glitches and see the game for what it was supposed to be, though it wasn't perfected.
So much so that we now have things like this:

Sonic 2006 is pretty much the same idea but fans who do like it usually don't voice their opinions because of what the Sonic fanbase is generally like. (no offense intended to anyone considering I'm a Sonic fan myself) I think I may have been the first to not care what people think of the game and say I like it and Shadow anyway.
2006 even has its own fan project much like the TRAOD one:

I am one of those types of fans stated in the first paragraph, though my voice isn't heard as much as others (if you can believe that) because I don't really use social media. I'm not part of the guys working on those however because I can't code except for minor HTML and CSS.
I certainly look forward to all those things in the links.
I hope that latter project isn't dead so we can at least have something if SEGA doesn't do it themselves.
I hope Gistix's project isn't dead too, Ive been following him for a long while now, from what I remember he didin't updated for months
If Sonic 2006 remake would happen, probably the Sonic franchise would have a better reputation, when someone will say "Sonic sucks because 06" people will tell him "but it's good!"
So even if Sonic 2006 remake doesn't sell well it will anyways "cure" the 3D Sonic game's reputation
Do you think so?
