Orca chase.

I'm dying for no reason at the orca chase. No matter what I do, in the middle of the chase I phase through the boardwalk and fall into the water. Doing nothing kills me, holding forward kills me, wtf am I supposed to do? Everytime I make it through, I feel like I just got lucky.

are you holding the same direction (forward) consistently and not letting go of the joystick?

I did yes. The way I finally figured it out was to actually let go of the controller and around the half way point to move the control stick to the right.
