Awful Camera?

Just curious if anyone else playing this game has suffered from a camera that flies around everywhere and gets stuck through walls all the time. The port itself is awful so I'm using the Better SADX mod and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it?
I played the original game on the Dreamcast and the DX port on Gamecube. But I don't remember the camera being this bad.

It's as bad as it's always been, you just notice it now. I think it's alright for the first sonic game at least. One thing that actually makes it worse in this version is that they recently removed the first person camera view which was a good way to reset it if it got stuck.

That's really strange. I've honestly never recalled having problems like this, but I'll just go with it until beating the game I suppose.
