You could easily make Eggman into a fat mobian shark...
Then again, you'd be replacing Teddy Roosevelt and I don't want to get rid of Teddy
Also he's more Egg than Man (see: Ovi Kintobor).
The closest thing is the "second earth" that's become canon post-retcon with Colors; up until recent then there was only one earth in Sonic games, but Colors onwards retconned that into being two planets, the Earth that we see in Adventure and certain other games, primarily inhabited by humans and the unnamed planet seen in certain other games, which is primarily populated by anthropomorphic characters. With recent statements this seems to be up in the air.
For preservation.
This isn't what I asked, I'm asking to change the humans to mobians (I don't fully know how you can edit NPCs model in the game).
For no reasons you're going back to this thread to insult me again despite the fact I didn't talk to you after the new year.
And I'd rather not feed the hater.
Anyway, Sega should've really put more non-playable mobians character (maybe from Angel Island I dunno) than just putting sonic with humans.
not sure why you'd call him a friend especially after he insulted you multiple times over not liking how the human NPCs look (which is totally understandable, it's kind of jarring to see a cartoon animal stand next to a human) honestly your "friend" seems more of a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Also you're right about it, Sonic casually walking with humans in a city was a bad decision.
How is the diet Pokémon and Pixar style better than the diet GTA one?
Modern Sonic was a mistake anyway. Glad Colors was back to a hub-less, human-less world.
Jak & Daxter also has a cartoony art direction similar to Crash Bandicoot (same developers) and even when Jak 2 transformed into a GTA style open world game instead of the Banjo style collect-a-thon of the first game, the world itself still felt cartoon-like and the art direction itself was still consistent enough to not feel out of place for that series.
BTW I also wasn't a fan of the realistic looking humans in New Donk City from Mario Odyssey as well and thought it, as well as a realistic looking city, looked out of place for a cartoony series like Mario, which is where Nyakuza Metro, as well as its cat-looking inhabitants from A Hat in Time worked so well.
Also Mario Odyssey is a masterpiece that's why it's ok.
