Swap music during Final Boss
I know there is a way to swap music around in Sonic Adventure 2 by renaming files, but can you do the same thing for Sonic DX? If so, what are the file names for the two themes that play during Perfect Chaos? I wanted to swap them so that Open Your Heart plays during the second half, rather than the first.

If you have BetterSADX you can roam around the file structure in the mods folder and you should be able to see a bunch of .wav files that relate to the music (not the stage/character sounds)

Would you be able to let me know whether or not you succeed? And if so, with which songs?

OOP. found the Music converter i needed on gamebanana (yes it does convert ADX files which are the games base sound files) Add me if you want more help and links to things.

Here is the sound converter: PES Sound file converter https://gamebanana.com/tools/download/6191

The pathway to the audio files will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic Adventure DX\system\sounddata\bgm\wma

Thank you very much!

Under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic Adventure DX\SoundData\bgm\wma"

Rename "chaos_p1.adx" to "chaos_p2.adx" and rename "chaos_p2.adx" to "chaos_p1.adx"

Default (all versions of Sonic Adventure that use ADX audio).
chaos_p1.adx (Open Your Heart - LOOPS)
chaos_p2.adx (Part two of the fight that plays that instrumental music - LOOPS)

Version differences:
For the 2004 PC version the extension is .wma instead of .adx (file names are the same though).
For the Dreamcast version this is all CAPS both the file name and extension.

Tried that... didn't change.

Try this mod. If you have BetterSADX or PkR's mod loader, it should work.

Make sure to also put it at the bottom of your mod list, so it'll have the highest priority.

Just did that... and my save file isn't in the game anymore.
