Somehow the game is capped at 50 FPS now?

I was super excited when I saw one of my favorite childhood games had come to Steam and was on sale! Needless to say, I snagged it right away and was very impressed (except no 16:9) at how well the game ran and how much better it looked at 60 frames. I booted up the game today and have tried every resolution and every combination of 60Hz Resolution, V-Sync and MSAA yet the game seems to be capped at 50fps instead of the 60fps that it was yesterday. Does anyone have any info on why this would be happening? Thanks.

I'm on the same boat, purchased yesterday with other SEGA games and everything was perfect, but now is capped at 50 fps. I hope we can figure this thing out soon.

Well, it seems that I only get 60 FPS if I choose to use my Logitech headset instead of "Primary Sound Driver"... that seems so odd but it has been working for 20+ minutes and not gone under 60
