Come Play Dreamcast Online!
It's safe to say a few of you people browsing this game hub found out about this game by owning it on Dreamcast way back when. As I have, and still do. I'm making this post to invite others to come play Dreamcast online multiplayer. I used to be really big into PC, but I really only play Dreamcast anymore

For those of you who've had a Dreamcast in the past, but never played online, it's a really cool experience to get yours connected to the internet. I got mine out of the garage last year, got it online and pretty much haven't went back to PC or any console. It was nostalgic, but while having a new experience at the same time

All you need is a Raspberry Pi and a generic USB modem (Dell USB modems work great). You have to induct electricity into the phone cord, but this is simple. After you get it setup, you have a working in-home dialup ISP!

I've also started a community called Dreampipe. The name is a play on Steam's "Steampipe" network infastructure. The goal is to be a community contained on the console itself. It's the only website I know of with videos and music that play on the Dreamcast. In addition to a vast library of DLC, gamesaves, games/icons/animations for the Visual Memory Unit, news, status of online players with Dreamcast Now! intergration ( https://dreamcast.online/now/ ). AND a fully featured web builletin, customized and optimized for use on Sega Dreamcast. And it only works Dreamcast

In addition to all of those features, the site also takes advantage of the Dreamcast web browser software's E-Mail client, and IRC client. The message board handles private messages via console E-Mail client, and a Dreamcast compatible IRC server is hosted by Dreampipe. In addition to a few, but not all, Dreamcast game servers

You can access all this content at http://dreampipe.net

You can also access it in a bunch of games, hopefully soon all of them. Including Sonic Adventure 1, and 2

It looks funky on PC because it's formated for Dreamcast

Hope to see new people on Dreampipe BB, IRC and in-game. With a strong playerbase, Dreampipe could be an xbox live for Dreamcast. I'm going to post this on other Dreamcast related Steam hubs
