Is the SADX mod loader safe to use?

I know that this is a known mod, the reason I ask is because VirusTotal flagged the sadx_setup file eight times as malicious.

So what has the experience been like with the mod? And what has been the issues in using the mod, if any at all?

1. That's not the Mod Loader if the file is called sadx_setup, that's the Mod INSTALLER, which converts the Steam version of the game to the 2004 PC version (it will still launch on Steam by the way), installs the Mod Manager (or Mod Loader), and also automatically installs mods depending on your preferences, and
2. That's probably a false positive. I've used the Mod Installer before, and even though the installation of all the mods takes long, it's completely safe to use, so don't worry about it. Hope this helps.
