I'm not a sonic fan, this is just the first Sonic Adventure game right? But what DX stand for? It's for DirectX, meaning PC version?

Yes it is the first Sonic Adventure game and DX stands for Director's Cut. The purpose of DX was supposed to make it an enhanced version of the original Dreamcast port by updating the models and textures as well as adding a few other things.

That actually makes more sense in all honesty. Deluxe WOULD be updated things like graphics and textures, but a Director's Cut would be things cut added in.

DX stands for Deluxe, the game being Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut. It was called that because the director was cut.
