Switch pro controller support questions

For those of you with the Switch might help me decide on what to to.
I been playing the retail disc version & been trying to get the pro controller to work with the help of a program called ReWASD.

The question is does the Steam version have issues with the pro controller or not?
Especially with camera drifting.

Mostly asking this because I be getting the Humble Sonic Bundle & deciding if it's a key that I keep or give away.

No point in keeping two copies of the same game if there's no improvement.

Not sure, but usually with the Steam version you end up overwriting it with the retail edition anyway for mods and to fix issues that the port downgraded, like with what SADX Mod Installer (recommended) and BetterSADX (not recommended) do. You could try using the input mod on the retail version if you haven't already, and if that doesn't work, try out Steam's own controller wrapper functionality by adding it as a non-Steam game.

I use a Switch Pro Controller and it works and feels very good with SADX.
