Is It Worth Using Both The Sonic Adventure 1 And Sonic Adventure 2 Chao Gardens?

Hello. I am having a lot of fun with this game with the Better SADX mod but I'm wondering if Sonic Adventure 1's Chao Garden is really worth playing? I hear Sonic Adventure 2's Chao Garden is better and I'm not aiming for 100%, so I'm not sure if there's any reason for me to bother with Sonic Adventure 1's Chao Garden. I guess it depends on how much I like Sonic Adventure 2 as a whole??? What do all of you think?

Sonic Adventure 1's Chao Garden, while it's not as in-depth as Sonic Adventure 2's Chao Garden... I would still recommend doing it personally. In all actuality, SA1 is a lot easier (and personally more fun) to 100% and doing so grants you access to an alternate skin for Sonic (Metal Sonic) which can only be used in time attack, but comes with his own sounds and animations which I like. Personally, I felt SA2's 100% reward wasn't that great... I mean, Green Hill is nice, but I think what would have been cooler would be having the entirety of Sonic The Hedgehog (1991) playable, 3D, and with the other gamemodes/characters (I.E. Sonic still gets Green Hill Zone, Shadow gets Starlight Zone, Tails gets Marble Zone, Eggman gets Scrap Brain Zone, Knuckles gets Spring Yard Zone, & Rouge gets Labyrinth Zone). It is up to you though and I think you are correct when you say it depends on how much you like Sonic Adventure 2 as a whole. If you're just interested in the Chao Garden though and don't care about 100%, then definitely don't bother with SA1's Chao Garden and just go directly to SA2.

Personally I prefer raising Chao in SA1 because you do need to play the levels to find small animals and I just have a better time in SA1's world in general.
