If it's possible, you would have to hold the camera buttons before the game saves and after the game starts the transition between Station Square & the Mystic Ruins.
Oh, alright, that makes sense. Kind of a shame it can't be changed on-the-fly but I guess the mod we have is an alright alternative.
yeah but I wanted a way to switch between them dynamically, with more control than the day cycle mod offers.
You may be able to fix this just using a save editor actually. There's a steam guide on how to use the SASave editor to force your game to load Station Square at night time.
The mod itself does not take effect until you complete adventure mode, so it wouldn't help you here.
Edit: Here, this guide was originally intended for revisiting a specific location but it'll walk you through SASave's basic functionality as well as provide a download link. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=882515452
I want to use the Meme Maker[gamebanana.com] to take two of the exact same photos of the Altar of the Emerald with Free Camera mode. One at day, one at night.
Problem is I can't "save" camera co-ordinations in Free Camera mode, nor can I use the means covered on this thread to change the day cycle.
And I know it's possible because I've seen it done in Sonic Evades his Taxes at 2:02. (Even Sonic and Tails don't move!)
I asked around how to do this but no one has responded yet.
