How to change the controls?

Hi, I have BetterSADX, and I forgot to change my keyboard controls, so now if I hit "Configure SADX" after hitting the play button, I get sent to the SADX Mod Manager. I would prefer WASD to move and Shift and Control to perform actions.

Configure the input mod to your preference.

I hear SharpKeys can remap keys from your keyboard to different ones. Give that a try.

I have installed the keyboard remap mod but when I save the control settings and I run the game nothing happens, it's still set to default? Do I need to place the sadx-keyboard-remap folder in anywhere in particular in order for it to work?

You must DISABLE the Input Mod for the Keyboard remap to work

I believe what you guys are looking for is a program to remap controls for keyboard. SADX Mod Installer comes with a custom AppLauncher tool that allows for custom keybindings and other configuration options. For those using Better SADX, I took the AppLauncher package that SADX Mod Installer comes with and uploaded it on PC Gaming Wiki, though I'm not sure if it's outdated or not. I have used with this a copy that used Better SADX about a year ago and confirmed it works on that too. Download it here, extract it to where your SADX game is installed, and copy/paste it over there, replacing any and all files when prompted.
