Wanna make a sonic chao

Any advice? I can't find any guides online for this.

Focus on your chao's speed and try to make it neutral.

Don't give it any hero/dark fruit & heavily increase its speed stat.
If its speed stat is much higher than other stats & your Chao hasn't been fed too many Hero/Dark fruits, it will become a Sonic chao when it grows up.

Thanks for the tips but how do I increase the speed stat?

Also sorry for all the questions but the guides I've been looking up are kind of cryptic and confusing. How do I unlock new gardens? I only have exp with SAB2 chao raising and it was fun, one thing I really liked about the adventure series, but it was so long ago I forgot most of it and this ones a lot different.

I was close to making a sonic chao in SAB2 but never did get to finish it, or the nights one.

To increase your chaos speed (run) stat, give it running type animals, including: Kangaroos, Rabbits and Deer. Animals that increase the Run Stat are green. Look here for information on where to find said animals. https://chao-island.com/info-center/training-sa1/animal-locations/

Ok thanks.

Basically just feed him speed animals and eventually it'll turn into sonic?

To unlock new gardens in SA1, you need to find them in the Adventure Fields. Then, the teleporters for that garden in the other gardens will start working.
