Enter some basic info about your mod and then go to the folder for your mod.
Add the line "EXEFile=(exe file name).EXE" to the mod's mod.ini file.
(Make sure the modified EXE is not called "sonic"!)
To get the mod ready for uploading to something like Gamebanana, make a new zip archive using something like WinRAR or 7Zip and put the modified EXE file in the ZIP file. Make a new folder in the ZIP file and call it "mods". Put your mod's folder in the "mods" folder inside the ZIP file and then you're done.
(What is this shadow mod you speak of though....)
(The shadow mod is an old mod which only works without the modloader but it has a custom animation for running which was made by editing the EXE file & CHRMODELS.DLL. Someone ported the model to the modloader, but the EXE was already compatable with the modloader so the EXE was released with the ported version of the mod)
(i'd prefer to keep identities out of the public eye.)
