PDA Scrolling

I just started the tutorial and noticed after a short while that there is a problem with the PDA. When you open up a list of items to view on the left menu, if the list is longer than 4 items, you get a Scroll bar but you cannot 'scroll' it. Rather, when your pointer moves onto item 3, it automatically goes down and when you are on the 3rd item from the bottom, it goes up. Now, picture what happens if you have 10 items... You want to look at item 3, but you can't since it zooms down to the bottom and now your pointer is on 9. You can only click on items 1 & 2 and the last 2. I wanted to look at the 3rd item from the end but I couldn't because of this. I couldn't find a key to scroll the list and I couldn't drag the slider so I just couldn't use it.

Then, while I was reading my PDA I died. Different issue, apparently your ship can just fall apart while you are in the tutorial. Then I moved into a new close and looked at my ship. For some reason, not clue as to what, all of my modules were red and flashing. I wasn't at the 'you are about to die' portion of the tutorial... I was supposed to board a ship for an away mission but never got the opportunity. Maybe aliens boarded my ship from the tractor beam and set the ship on fire... don't know.

I tried again to see if I could scroll it with keys, mouse wheel, etc and I had no luck. I did figure out what destroyed my ship though... I've learned about the wonderful array of infestations that can occur... :)
