Difficulty/custom settings for universe

Ok, so I must say that the game is way easy when it comes to infestation. Raiders cause more trouble, though if you hyperdrive fast enought you end up with only 2-5 boarders that are easy to get rid of. Any chance for adding difficulty settings or "custom" settings for universe? I started another round with this game but I am not leaving ship unless its to get new tech, everything is done by clones so i have to deal with infestation and stuff.

Yeah the game is way too easy, beat it without much effort on the first go. Only even came close to dying once.
