Trouble with greenhouses and AI
I wanted to add one more corridor to my ship, so I deleted my greenhouse thinking I'd quickly rebuild it and replant things. Lost my 2nd game - all my plants were deleted, and no way to save anything. This is a really frusterating mechanic. I also noticed that if I remove a ship, it deleted gun turrets and energy barriers.

Game should have a distinction between deconstruction or destruction. I suppose this could be cheesed a bit, but just make it only apply when at full health or something.

This is a great concept, but a few serious bugs/issues just destroy it. I have no idea why I can't set some of my AI troopers to "Patrol" and go around and search for infestations. I end up spending all my time in the tunnels trying to zap infestations.

So because you can't be having your turrets and plants float aimlessly in space in the exact same position as you placed them; while you completely remove the structure is was once housed in , resulting in when you rebuild they magically are in the same spot and not lost to the infinite inky void of space? And you are calling this a bug? ok then....

If you turn warnings on it will tell you when deleting certain things like the greenhouse what will happen.
What I do to avoid my green house being is the way is build a lift up as high as I can go and put them there. That way the dome of the greenhouse isn't in the way of me building the rest of my ship.

Thank you for the feedback!

In regards to the turrets and plants being deconstructed along with the section you deconstruction is working as intended ( at least from how you're describing it!)
