I'm at the stage where you have to collect groceries for the old lady. I am collecting the items it is asking for but the totals very rarely go down and it results in a failure every time even though I am collecting them. There are never any instructions to these mini games. Is it just glitched or am I doing something wrong?...

How do I get past the fork Lift Truck? I can't see any way of dodging it and there is no way around it.
