Can we get atleast 2 player local coop. Otherwise people will have to use 3rd party software like Nucleus coop to play local

most triple-A games stopped attempting that bc it requires Alot of resources on top of the game needing to be build with that in mind from the very start xD
dont think this game was built with multiplayer in mind to begin with, but since theyre working on it might as well add in a option for another player.
It's not that simple, as stated above. Won't happen.

Two pc's, within the same network, can play locally.

thats lan. I can already simulate lan on one pc with nucleus coop,. Id rather the game just have native split screen
Local coop would take an insane ammount of work at this point and would be very taxing on the system. Can't imagine it'll ever happen.

ok then i guess ill just have to use Nucleus coop to run two instances of the game which will also be "very taxing on the system" lol

Dang, thats unfortunate. Well as long as it allows for multiplayer over LAN i can make it work
Any of you guys tried playing co-op with one person having the game on gog and the other on steam? I bought it on gog and I'm not even sure if I can get the beta branch there, my bud has P4 on steam and can easily get the beta with co-op now.

beta branch is a feature build into steam to help developers, it's not on gog so you'll have to wait for the finished version to release

nah, you can get beta updates on GoG too. No idea if the P4 beta update is there or not tho as I have it on steam

There is in fact this beta thing out there, but it's behind a password. Been trying to figure out how it works, but as far as I know they (RWS) don't have the beta out there. I got some help from one of the devs yesterday so the issue is fixed for me anyway.
