"This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development."
So i get mixed signals, dont you think? I wanted to wait, but today news literally told me "FU, you cant wait".
And anyway, even if they stated that, can you explain to me HOW this information make any of this better?
Because for me it is like someone would say "I will sell you this broken, unfinished thing now, and i will fix it later (MAYBE, you cant be sure), but you will pay more later, so overall i will FU one way or another... Enjoy. :)". Maybe you are fine with that, thats fine, im not.
Early Access games usually work this way, by rewarding those who have been supporting the projects since the beginning. Some developers don't even warn people about a price raise, they just do it and you're left with no other choice unless you own a time machine.
Considering people will get the same things as all future buyers for a cheaper price, if you really want the game you should definitely get it now. Otherwise, the price will only go up as we add new days.
We're not thrilled to lose you as a customer and a fan, but these things cost money to make and we can't jeopardize the value of the game. More content = higher priced game, it's the way things work.

cry us a river.
P4 in its current state is totally worth the 13 bucks i paid for it months ago.
lots of updates, P2 feeling.
>"B-but devs were so nice to mention that they will lift the price... HOW DARE THEY"
>mfw RWS adds a constantly crying guy into the game for the lulz
¨We are working on a game. It’s currently broken and unfinished, but you can already buy it and help us with it if you really want. Furthermore, it will be cheaper for you if you do that.¨
The game won’t go away once it’s released. And you can be sure no bait and switch would be done by RWS if you feared previous Epic Games shenanigans, they already responded to that.
Lena, with 5$ increase in price i could buy quite new games cheaper. Here this price is f.ed up. And anyway thats not the point - i could buy finished games, and, you know, play them now, without waiting for release. :/
And rest of you fanboys;. Rarely i encounter so big wall of closemindess like this one. Educate yourself, develop some empathy, grow up kiddos. :/ BTW; People who buy game later with higher price will support devs more, right? So if all of you here are so huuuge fans of Postal maybe you should wait? Why did you buy game now to support developer less with your money?
🎆💩🎆
The early access warning is right there on the storefront.
Basically, what they do, but with more discount gradual price steps, until the release price is set once the game is fully finished.
Actually, not really.
You either, sell more copies at a bit lower price for people who can’t afford it yet at $25,
or made it full $25, and sell less copies.
The advantages of selling at more people, is to help the game be known to more people, as outside of still current fans of Postal 2 and those ¨fanboys¨, RWS isn’t that renowned, especially after the Postal 3 disaster.
Postal 2 was $50 at launch, i'll just say that in response to this.
Those sites can outright scam people. Unless you pay a fee, you won't see your money back nor a replacement key.
