[Tuesday] How to beat the scooter challenge?

What time do I need to achieve and how do I achieve it. All I get is just under three minutes and a "try again".

What is the reward anyways? I tried like 15 times and still can't get to first place. I am usually in like 3rd to 6th place.

Follow closely behind the red scooter, and use your nitro to ram any scooter trying to pass the red one until the race is over.

He thinks you are talking about the thursday mission where you have to run into other scooters to destroy them so the red scooter wins.

Nope. I mean the Tuesday one, where you have to get past all the checkpoints in time.

i can't ever get to the first checkpoint. it gives 15 seconds to reach it and i follow the arrow only to run out of time before even seeing the point

yeah its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken, its doing it for me aswell. Might just be a bug they'll have to patch out.

Well, I finish in time, get the reward, but the task remains unchecked in the list. Is it supposed to get checked in the list if I beat some certain time? Don't tell me I have to beat the highest score, it would be a nightmare.

To answer your question: The task is always shown because its a challenge that can be repeated as many times as the player wants.

Apparently scooter's speed depends on framerate and game's performance. Turned settings down, removed framerate cap and was able to do it in first try afterwards.

I haven't been able to beat the race since they rerouted the race to pass through the cul de sac area. I always end up hitting that stupid fence or something

i finished it below two minutes and fourty secs. no idea what my reward was. there is no way you can finish 1st, it's impossible, and no, before anyone suggests, you can't use nitros

I tried the Scooter Challenge on both v1.0.7 & v1.1.0, my attempts on v1.0.7 have faster times. Seems like newer physics on v1.1.0 actually slowed down the scooter?

Also my monitor is 75Hz only, so I can't try increasing FPS beyond that to see how different it will be.

This might be true, I've tuned down some settings and game resolution and noticed I was winning a second or two each run. Beat the challenge.
