Current hud, P2 style hud or something new?

Would you guys prefer to see the old style hud back, keep the current, or try something new? Here is what the old style hud looks like in P4

In any case, we can allow the option to change between a few in the menu, but we're homing in on the default. We'll get some mock-ups done of alternatives too.

This is the point of doing EA with such an early build btw, anything like this can change based on feedback.

i personally like the new hud it fits well in my opinion. the option to switch between a small variety of different ones is defiantly a good idea.

Defonetely the old one. New one looks kind of bland and cartoony. The old one is darker and unique (rarely I have seen the anatomical heart to represent HP) but still stylized.

I really like the newer looking spin on the Old HUD and would personally like to see that one be the default, but a menu that lets players choose would be really cool.

The old style looks good even in P4, and new one seems ok too. I'd probably go back to the old one if an option to switch between them comes around, though. If that happens, then that'd be nostalgic > logic kind of choice, I guess.

I dig both options. But at 1440p the icons are still huge. Maybe make them a bit smaller, with larger, more bubbly ammo counters.

Edit: I do like that the new ones sort of reflect the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile app sort of theme you're going for. So I would keep that in mind. I just think the icons need to be higher resolution. Maybe even simplified like you might find in an app store.

I like the new HUD for a default, but I agree with the second post in that an anatomical heart to represent HP feels very unique to Postal, and it's something I'd like to see incorporated into a new HUD for a default. I also like the idea of being able to switch to the P2 HUD, however.

Choice is best. I'd personally use the classic one probably. The new could be neat too though, once polished. Gotta admit the idea of it being cartoonish is interesting but right now it just looks unfinished.

Ey I really like that redone HUD in the first post. But yeah, it would actually be neat if we had both. :P
