M16 is an actually good gun, even with common rounds like AP and FMJ. With 5.46 M1 this rifle awesome for PvP as well! But as for me, AS VAL might be better against heavy armored characters like Miners. But it has good accuracy, and stability during the shooting. Also, it supports PO-1, as you noticed, that also very good.

is there a Strict class to use the M16 or no?? i used to play the game back when it first was running "lvl 21" but i stopped playing

This weapon is only for mercenaries, such as Thunder only for hunters, SMG 90 only for Engineers, and GL-43 and SPAS only for miners.
