Best armor for low levels?

Im only a level 8 hunter, Ive watched videos on how to do quests and such but I dont know how the guys in the video dont die in like 3-4 hits. I own a bike helmet and thats it for armor. What armor should i buy in the future or that i can buy right now?

at level 8 gorkha jacket and pants are the only thing you'l; be able to wear armors with armor plating slots will be available at level 10 but if you have enough experience about the game on how to survive than just skip this level 10 light armor, at level 13 you'll able craft your own armor that is leather jacket and pants which is good, the ingriendients can be found in commission store or you can go scavange at places like MTE, Engineering, sosnovka village and also Big village. Medium armor and pants are unlocked at level 15 which is good if you're a PVP player but that also weigh more with armor plates which slows you down. Heavy amor can be worn by only Miners and it is one of the best armor in the game also the heaviest. At level 20 the chitin armor which is obtained by making yourself same as level 13 or at commission store with expensive price, most the players you see will be wearing this armor for the entire game. And faction armors are only available if you are in faction.
