How Do I Craft Chitin Armor?

im a newer player and my character is nearly level 20 and i have been preparing the polymer and webs but i still need to figure out how to get treated fire spider shells, anyone able to help pls?

You will need 2 more recipes to your pda.

1. Polymer related recipe
2. Advanced Leatherworking

1 from Cave Spider Boss, 1 from bandits camp near Korovie.

Also for some materials you will have to kill "fire spiders" at Dead Forest, it's entrance in Korovie zone.

i understand but do i get the treated fire spider shells from cave spider boss or do they give the pda polymer? If so then all 3 shells are from the bandits.

cave spider boss gives you polymer pda, and also chitin related crafting materials, and you craft the treated fire spider thingy, you need to go to dead forest and kill fire spiders, just get a vest and dont get too close there because many spiders might run on you, unless there are already players farming.

You have to craft. You will get "Advanced Leatherworking Pda" from bandits, which it includes recipe for "treated fire spider shell". You will need furnace to craft.

Go to "google" search for "will to live online crafting", so wiki for crafting comes first in search results -> Check "Misc." section at wiki page, it explains also.

Note : Steam removes link, so why I have suggested search instead of sharing wiki page url.

dont even bother playing after lvl 20 its just pure grind killing the same spiders until lvl 45 and then there is nothing to do after that
