Very Long Loading times ( almost Infinite)

First of all i understand that the game in still in alpha and there can be bugs and other problems but let me say that....

I've seen others complain about long loading times between instances but i don't know if thats how its supposed to be.

Normally i expected the loading times to be 10 mins long at maximum but when i try to leave the solar city i....i...yeah i basically can't leave due to this incredibly (almost infinite) long loading times...so i tried once and after 10 mins i opened task manager to see what was going on and why the game was still on the loading screen but the task manager was showing that the game wasn't responding.

2nd time i tried to leave the solar city but the game bugged and CTD without any warnings or errors....i was like...WUT?

3rd time i tried to leave the solar city.....all was going well....i left the loading screen on and waited....and waited.....and waited......and guess what.... 1 hour passed and the game was still on the loading screen.

As for now the game is kinda unplayable for me
( I can play only inside the city killing mutated rats and dogs)

Throw some light into this matter. What could cause that? cause i don't think thats how its supposed to work.

yeah my load times are insanely long for this game compared to what my pc can handle, read slapping it onto the SSD helps a lot but yeah this game isn't worth my limited SSD space XD

My SSD is full already so....installing the game on my SSD is out of the question...i hope that this is not the only fix...

Can confirm long loading times, especially solnechniy outskirts, swamp and solar city load fast.

So...going outside the city takes ages but going in the city is fast? i really want a dev to see this

They always give the same reply, lower settings, up texture size or whatever, tried everything on low and used their advice, its still awful.

I dont have that problem, so i cant say if its cuz of optimization or when the server load is higher.

its common sense and the only THING to be done if you wants fast load times is have an SSD, if your crying about using a HDD then stop playing games because your weakass isnty wanted here. SSD or gtfo. its that simple. i use a outdated entire system and my load times are fine. and when i mean outdated try DDR3 1866mhz memory Fx 8320 cpu. complain more and ill make it my goal to kill you every time your playing this game.

also if your trying to OC your cpu and/or gpu without knowing anything thatll cause your system to be a failure at games also. start with LOWEST settings and maybe since you wont grow a pair for an SSD move then use a large gb usb drive that has readydrive on it and use readyboost with your HDD and it should speed things up a bit. just tweek every little thing you can from system maintenence and alot of DELETEing old unused taking up space files. try razer cortex, should help you with ezzzz and its free. good luck my Stalker. may the anomalies miss you and guide you.

Sorry but that's the single dumbest comment and not helpful at all and it keeps getting said even though it's demonstrably wrong. SSD or not this game takes forever to load frequently accessed areas. Also a SSD does not guarantee any performance increase if the game is unoptimized.

Insulting people unnecessarily just shows how childish and immature you are. I run games fine on HDD and also have a SSD but WTL Online has some seriously long load times.

Whether or not you agree is not important, but that's the thing about facts, they don't change regardless of if you believe them or not.

lol this is why i bad reviewed this game due to people like smokie boy over here, and as i said already only "good" games get the "privilige" on going to my SDD.

You can bad review because it's your own personal preference, but calling out the fanboys has literally nothing to do with the review. Nothing. It tells people nothing.

Also i have a ssd. My load times r fine. And a second computer with a normal hd and it also loads fine. Both are top end computers

Hello! How many rpm does have your HDD? Because RPM does matter. For example, I have WD Black in my system and the game and locations loads about 20 secs (first time).

Also, if your PC have 16GB RAM, loading goes faster than if you have only 8 GB of RAM.

I dunno man after talking about this game extensively from its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest discriptions up to its imbalance of exp scaling like how a blue blop can 2 hit kill me and offer like 200 exp while I can face tank 3 bog monsters hell iv faced tanked 6 of those bog monsters at a time in light armor no less and they offer 750-2k exp each and even with bleed out and poison and having 3 of them whail on me at once i am still living, can't take on more then 1 blob though thats for sure rofl but yeah here is a direct quote off some one today after i told them a lot of information on this game

and wont be out for anohter 2 to 3 years e-e"

these forums remind me so much of the vermintide forums lol just blindlessly defending ♥♥♥♥ doesn't help no one and you seem to fail to see the big picture, using VT as a example I got 6 people onto that early on which added in more players who they got into it and so on, but those first 6 would of never even attempted it had i not highly suguested it, and boy do i feel like a ♥♥♥♥ for helping that game out at all lol.

in all honesty though nothing in game compares to half the people you have to deal with on these forums and there accusations and how they all seem to apparently know your play style and every in game movement to the T only so they can call you a stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who apparently doesn't know how to play because your FMJ rounds are doing 0s to a lvl 4 (non wild) boar and they claim your trying to kill higher lvl wild boar or the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boar boss it self when you were no where ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ near either of those 2 things.....
