by killing everything that moved so blame them for the game being dead,
when you have fools camping outside the noob towns waiting for people to leave
to do quests to be constantly killed by wantabe heros, then the game will die,
the devs need to relise this game is way to big to be A PVP GAME,
it,s a survival horror game so it needs to be treated as that not some big PVP game,
also the leveling system is all wrong, you need so much XP to level from 30 to 35,
1mill+ the guns are limited to curtian charators like hunter snipers rifles and mercs mp70 the engineer p90 the miner shot guns,
for a PVP game any chartor should be able to use any gun,
thats another reason why this game is survival horror game,
so this game needs to be treated as that,
there is so much that can be done with this game if they would change it to survival horror and not try and make it PVP ONLY.
As for the low population and some players calling it dead : the game is more or less a singleplayer experience and a lot of players play this game for pve mostly and alone which obviously makes the game have lower constant online. Players who finished most of the content of this game take a break from it until more content is added so to look at the game online is more comparable to singleplayer games.
If people could simply stop complaining and resume play, as the game has no issues per se, the population would dramatically rise and faction wars would finally trigger.
PvE servers just have little changes in PvP rules
both of them - PvP
also, all other servers except MSK1 and MSK 2 - absolutly dead
so, if you look Stalker PVE game - yes, you waste money if buy it
if you look good pve - check fallout 76, or metro exodus in 2 month.
Basically this game is worked on, getting updates and grows, the low population I guess makes PVP hard to do but even then there is basically no real looting system, if you died you dont lose your weapon your armor and whatever you have equiped. Even when I died in pve I rarely gone back to where I died because I barely lost any items.
So basically if you are looking for a PVE game in stalker universe part then this is for you.
If you are looking for PVP then you will probably need to wait more or choose a different game for now, not that you will have a problem finding fps pvp games out there anyway.
You can now turn off PVP until lvl 20 if you're sick of being camped. The classes are fairly balanced (though hunters kinda suck in PVE, we're great in PVP).
At any rate, the game has lots of stuff to explore. It's very scenic and pleasant, the boss fights are fairly enjoyable, the new content is going in a very promising direction. The artifact stuff is looking to be compelling and they're adding new non-combat stuff it seems.
Honestly, I'd say pick it up now, you can start the game and always pick it up later. It's a bit of a sleeper title. There are friendly, well-informed players on all of the servers. If you play on US-1, playing neutral is relatively safe. Komrade is 100% right.
And I strongly recommend against Fallout76. It's like a worse managed version of Rust without any modding and ARK level bugs.
the loot drop should be nerfed there is no need to drop 400+ rounds of ammo from guns when killed, the aussi server is friendly as hell here our clan will give new players money and gear also help them with quest and look after them,
so don,t be scared to join aussi server,
there is no PVP here we just play the game as it should be played,
a survival horror game,
the devs need to give players more imfo on where quest items are to be found also,
this is lacking in the game, atleast give some co/ordnates on where to go like area h1-2 and h1-5 so that people can atleast have an idear of where to start looking,
not a picture of a map with a cross on it,
that give you no indicasion of where to go.
Also, many quests have markers which are specifically on the spot, other that require you to search an area, which I think is cool.
It is not a game that takes your hand and make things easy. I think it wants to be a challenging game, somehow like the old school ones. That is why I like it so much.
also pve is dead on this game
https://steamcommunity.com/games/WTLOnline/announcements/detail/1691562403177925262 this
as there's no pve aus servers this game as the devs put is a pvp game,
even tho that's a bad idea.
