Best way to get "Good Lizard Skin"?

I am trying to do the quest for Miron, however after farming lizards around Kuzmich's hut I have only looted damaged weapon skins.

Do I need to use a specific type of weapon? Do the lizards have to be a specific level?

Elder Lizards drop them almost every time.
They are pretty easy to kill even for low level. They are slower then small lizards and also bigger (more shoots, and easier to hit). But don't let them get up to you because they bite you hard.
Stack up some chemical antidote aswell.

Thanks for the info. The Elder Lizards in J2-2 (northeastern-most corner of the bog near Kuzmich) spawns lvl 10-16 elder lizards pretty regularly that drop these skins. Thanks for your help!
