Low-Level Pistol Showdown

Is the TT/Nagan worth the purchase for a low level pistol? The Nagan I can see for sure, being as it is more accurate and does more damage than the Makorov on base ammo. But what about the TT? I can't see any advantages in the stats. Of course the TT has higher accuracy than the Mak, but the Mak is still plenty accurate. And the TT's ammo does far less damage than the Mak. The only thing I notice about the ammo is it has a higher armor piercing modifier. My question is, does that affect low level mobs like rats, boars and dogs at all? I plan on only doing PVE if that helps. Does the TT have a higher rate of fire making it better, or does the armor piercing modifier make that big of a damage difference?

Yes the TT is worth it, its not as much the damage you need but you need the armor penetration, with the extra AP, it allows you to go hunt bigger enemies (watchers and boars) which in turn gets you a lot more money. Just be warned though the Nagan in my opinion is NOT worth the price due to the slow fire rate and the even slower reload speed.
