Stuck in loading screen

So I've been playing the game for about 30-40 minutes in which time I went out of the first sector to the outer sector. When I was running around looking for the Rat King I noticed that my Hotkeys did not work. I could not wield any of my weapons and also could not unload them in inventory or assign another gun. I also realized that the Exit to Menu and Exit Game buttons did not work so I was forced to close the game using task manager.
Now when I try to join the server, after I pick my character and enter the loading screen, the loading screen never ends. And its like it's not doing anything because I can access the Steam Overlay anytime in the middle as fast as I want. The music is playing and game seems to be running but it's just not loading anything. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Extra:
I'm running the game on Windows 10 (and my hardware DOES support the game)
I'm joining the EU No-pk (no pvp) server

I have the same issue too. Other chars work fine and load in to the Game.

I think the problem might be because of Character corruption. I don't know if our character data files are client side or server side but I think its corruption might be the problem.

Me and a friend also stuck on EU 3, infinite loading screen from swamp to outskirts.

Not the problem we are experiencing here buddy. We're bugged to stay in loading screen forever while you actually DO load the game eventually

Same here, stuck with my "main" char... I had planned to farm tonight

if it helps i was out hunting evrything was alright till at some point on the way back i couldnt get the menu up couldnt get the inv change wep enter the city now i get the load screen after i forced exited on eu no pk

I've emailed the game support describing our problem and linking this Discussion. Hopefully they will look into it soon.

just happend agen with a new toon same class hunter loading screen forever when leaveing the city. got back in luckly anuff but i still cant leave the city it just loads and loads it spawns me back in town when i force quit
