I'm slowly trying to fix the translations on NPC's but its a huge task especially since I completed some of the quests already, and won't see the dialogue anymore. Is there a faster way of doing this? At the moment, I am just looking at what they say, and writing it down, and writing my own translation of it. It's going to take forever without some resources.

I agree mostly, though if anyone is offended by 'show me your goods' in a computer game in this context they probably should stop playing. It's not like he only says it to female characters.

I actually like some of the weird things Rafik comes out with, I think he should keep saying 'Massive big ups!'

Is there a place to report translation stuff seperately, seems like submitting as a bug isn't the best thing, plus I don't think the bug report button 'END' is highlighted in safe zones.

I actually kinda like the miss translations it adds depth to the game. my imagination leads me to think it wouldnt be suprising for a lot of different Cultures to come together to survive. so they may speak in a way that was different than what we know. I think the only thing i would change are translations that couldnt be interpreted. honestly i have not seen any so messed up that you couldnt figure it out. just some thought. and to be honest its interpreted better than some americans i know talk lol but we are a hodgepodge of cultures.

Whilst I can relate to having proper translations in the game it would kinda ruin something about the game. I mean, it Is set in another country (Russia/Ukraine) and having the characters speaking perfect English would be like watching enemy at the gates :) Check it out, great film.

In case you don't get the refernce and don't want to watch the film. The Russians are played by English actors and the german sniper (Major Konig) is played by an american actor who all use their native language, not Russian or German, in the film.

If anyone can help collect mistranslations or misspelled words, feel free to assist. If you guys like the broken english dialogue, lets at least spell it correctly. There are some broken words on loading screen tips that could use some polishing.

Holding your breath while aiming, reduces weapon sway and recoil.

many times i am forced to try very hard to figure out what exactly i am supposed to be doing in a quest, or where exactly i am going because of how terrible the translations are.

i know someone who speaks fluent russian and english, problem is you'd have to pay her something. as much as you like to think your community will step up and do this for you for free...

it would be different if this was a f2p game, but it isn't.

if you're going to do something like release a game to a non native language, you can't charge us money for it and do a half ass job. at a certain point things become confusing and the gameplay experience drops off conciderably. you're development company trying to be legitimate, hire a translator. its the least you could do concidering we are paying for your product.

Restart for 5 minutes

Please, an event would be, for example, if you restart the server for an update and upload new game content such as "double XP" for a weekend or similar.
That's exactly what "important event" suggests.

Every time I read "important event", I'm looking forward to new content, but there's none because it's just a server restart.


Event is the wrong word for a server restart, but takes "important: server restart".
