Radioactive material

Hi, sry my english, I have quest collect 20x radioactive material, but after some minutes this material start killing me softly :D Is it, cuz Im wizhout respirator or it is just for having this material in my backpack ? I drink some vodka, two bottles and falling down near save zone and die :D is there any way to survive this radioactivity ?

You need a gas mask or pop som anti-radioactive pills.

Gas mask only works if the envoirnment is radio active but for radio active material you need pills.

Gas mask also worked last time I played :) But you need to start wear them when you have 0 radioactive. It won't decrease radioactive like the pills do.
