Getting out of Giant Garden?

So, I am having real trouble getting out of Giant Garden westward, to do the quest for the queen bee. In the garden itself, I keep getting into holes until I am in a small island, with a "9" plaque, but no hole corresponding to it. The dark mine seems to go in circles. I pressed a lever to bring a bridge down, but I can't seem to find anything to do there (there is a door covered with spider webs, but I can't get inside it).

There's a gate out somewhere on the left side of the map. You don't need to go in any of the holes to get there, they're mostly just confusing.

Look for a field of flowers located to the right of a small bridge, on the west side of the map. That's where the end will be! I got confused at this point too, haha.
