hi, how can i upgrade a tower? i played today and was not able to find how. being in the build mode shows the upgrade cost but nothing happens when clicking

got 4 of the 5 cheevos, not sure what changed but the game isn't running. was trying to run it to work on the 10 K cheevo. was also curious if the towers add to that number, automatic kills.
