I also missed this game for a long time.I lost one of the three or four cds of the old box version many years ago. Very happy to can play it again now :-)

No wonder. Mode can be enabled only by editing the configuration file. I can describe the process if you need to.

It would be too costly for a small studio to rework the game for widescreen. But with the editing of configuration files you can greatly improve the quality of characters rendering (backgrounds looks pretty good even in high resolution). If the developer did not make it in Steam version.

I will buy this version definitely. If it looks really bad I would be glad if you show me how to change the quality in configuration files. The black bars do not bother me at all.

When the game becomes available for purchase, I plan to publish one or more guides, which will also describe this possibility.

Would be nice. But either way, I will buy Keepsake again and love it the way I loved it back then.:-) The only thing I hope is that the devs have erased the one or two gamebreaking bugs from back then.

Me too, i'll will buy it anyway and i 'll recommend it, but i was thinking there is something possible to do in the "ini" to play without black bars, but i'm not a specialist in computing. Sometime, it's possible to lower resolution to play in full screen in old games. I still prefer that for immersion. But i'll be happy to see yours guides Madevi .
