Just so that you know, if you don't already. Defragging should only be done to hard drives and not to SSDs. So if you have Gen Zero on a hard drive, that's ok if you wish. But if on an SSD, they have built in methods to handle all this, since they have to move data around when the cells get tired of electrically refreshing too many times, like 5 per cell. So Defragging an SSD actually just ages the SSD with no performance gain. So, no point in doing it to an SSD.
"Im currently optimizing my game with Iobit defrager and will updatre a later"
Iobit Defrager (sic). It defrags a drive. So, I was making sure the person knew that it was not recommended to do that to an SSD versus a Hard Disk, as it just ages your drive. See Tech Videos if you don't believe me. If he has Gen Zero on a hard drive, good, defrag away if want. But not on an SSD, also in my original reply.
It was germane to the referenced post. I mentioned it to AID the person if they thought otherwise. It was not that germane to the thread, but I thought it worth the risk of an emergency intervention if he is simply using up his warranty on the SSD by continually defragging an SSD. Warranties on SSDs are normally limited to amount of the SSD's usage, and will override the years of warranty. Defragging uses up a lot of the SSD's write/reads which is usually referenced in TBs total read/writes.
Thus, I decided to post something helpful based on careful reading of that post.
Perhaps you will rethink the reply given you did not even notice that sentence that I referenced in my very post above.
Um. Duh?!
Kind of a piss poor update.
It makes complete sense, SSD NAND cells have a finite limit on how many times they can be rewritten, defragging won't achieve any performance boost and will cause these cells to die faster (all SSDs die after a while).
Wait, leveling up doesn't give skill points? Wasn't that the whole argument behind increasing the level cap -_-
