Wow, that's really bad. So you are destroying parts of it, but it still fires. LOL.

If this is not a controllable Base, then there may be a quest related to making the FNIX OUTPOST, which are story placed structures, take damage.

However, someone did mention some bugs with it, in another video, and Gargoyle Girl made a Bug Report. You might follow up here on her Bug Report as well.

everything is correct, there is a task with it and it is also indicated in the video, unfortunately it didn’t occur to me to change the language to English

Ok, so you did the TASK before, but it still doesn't break. Thanks.

This is not a very old started campaign before Dec 2022 is it?

Appreciate the tip on the Quest, I will see if I can figure out the name then from watching it again, I suspected it was a MIssion Series in the South Coast.

Seems to be near Vastra Mark not far from Stentorpet. Hmm.

Online Mission or Offline ?

Sorry, I was dumb and didn’t immediately understand how to complete the mission, but yes, the video bug is relevant

Oh. So were you able to complete the mission then anyway?

I've not done that mission before. I would guess you need to plant a destructive device somewhere, or get into the interior of the base and blow up some specific structures.
zifirch Jul 22, 2024 @ 12:37am
but the base with the turrets disappeared completely, well, I’m a noob who loves bugs
and again I apologize for such stupidity on my part
DedZedNub Jul 22, 2024 @ 12:42am
Does the MIssion or Task now SHOW AS COMPLETED ?

No problem, Zifirch, I've heard there can be bugs on this type of Mission, and I have not done it, so I appreciate the info, just in case.

maybe this will help someone too

Good job, Stalker. It sure helps me a lot.

Ok, so it isn't necessary to do the main mission Spiking the Guns first. And it was a SIDE MISSION, very good to know. And I'm sure these open up by doing other Story Missions or maybe now by just seeing a FNIX OUTPOST or a Region with one, hmm.

And now, I do remember doing an unrelated Mission way back in the old campaign, that required I find the same sort of thing, glad you found it.

Ok, now here are some minor suggestions you may not be aware of that may help in some base assaults (though you may already know these):

SOME TIPS:

-- Look for RED GAS CANISTERS at BOTTOM OF WALL SECTIONS. These EXPLODE in an area of effect, often destroying the wall section. NOT ORANGE/YELLOW ONES, but the RED ONES. May take a few pistol bullets, maybe 1-2 rifle bullets, or 1-2 LMG rounds.

-- If you FIND SMALL EMPs while looting, you can save those and throw them at enemies. They have a SMALL EMP BLAST, like an EMP GRENADE. Runners often have these on them, often on placed wrecks you find and didn't even kill. This could help you in a FNIX OUTPOST Sabotage, especially if the Machines do not respawn, which they didn't in the past, but might now.

-- If you have the Tactical 1 or 2 Equipment Pack, you could try other devices. Sensory Jammer will give you maybe a minute of complete invisibility until you take a hostile or direct action. You can literally walk right up to almost all enemies, although I'm not sure it will fool a Wall Turret, and it is expensive in resources. You also could try some REMOTE CONTROLLED TICKS -- these are remotely controlled by you and you look through the Tick's Eyes when moving to target. They are not expensive and explode when you command and have a long radius before they begin to get out of control range. Maybe 100-150 yards of control range. These Remote Controlled Ticks can take out a Prototype Harvester or Tank in 4 attempts (so they do about 1/4 of a Prototype Normal Tank's hit points per detonation).

-- You can set up TWO WEAPONS to SWAP immediately from one to the other with a KEYBIND. Whatever was the last item/weapon AND the item/weapon in-hand just before that. It should be in the KEYBINDS of the various Menus. Mine is CUSTOM made to be the T key, but I think the default is other than that. (NOTE - this is separate from the Weapon Wheel and can work in addition to it, but any change to last and next to last item in-hand will go to the Weapon Swap, etc).

-- I set G for my Weapon Wheel, if you use a keyboard like me, and I put it into Toggle Mode. That means it stays up until I select a weapon, or hit the G key again. Also Mouse Scroll Wheel Up or Down, for me, chooses the next weapon/item in selection around the wheel. But if you have the WEAPON WHEEL UP VIA TOGGLE, you can just pick the Item you want with a LEFT MOUSE CLICK on that ITEM IN THE WHEEL.

I just saw that you weren't swapping weapons. The LMG is a good weapon, no doubt, especially the PM-71 or M-60, but you were low on ammo. Plus you can put Grenades, EMPs, other weapons for fast access on the Wheel, and Medkits also. You don't just have to hit 1 or 2, or 8 or whatever. If you forget where what is, you have options. I like the fast WEAPON SWAP on T, but pick what you like, just remember you have to check defaults first, to see what T does and then customize that as well, and so on.

Good luck. And thanks for the info and video.

thanks for these tips, I’m sure they should help many, but as for cartridges, this is due to the fact that, in principle, carrying more than 2000 pieces of each caliber with you is not very convenient (there is no way to stop at 1 gun, since it is better to be prepared for long-term battles both at long distances and close, including in area from ticks, and I use the PM-71 and others like it mainly for emergency situations, where the number of cartridges in a weapons store can decide the outcome of the battle :) )
thank you again and have a nice day
