How to get experimental weapons and how to level up rivals

So I have heard if a rivals is level 4 or over it has a chance to drop experimental weapons but I keep trying and how else do I get experimental weapons and or and I ask again level up rivals I hope to get a answer if anyone sees this

rivals level themselves up over time as long as you stay in their main area. or if they yeet another player. You just have to keep blowing up the little stuff to keep the threat level high. Ive gotten exp weapons from base assault missions as well i think.

slofish_00 is correct that you have to be level 25 or higher to qualify for experimental weapons. I just crossed that threshold and sure enough, got my first experimental weapon (an AG4) that session from an apocalypse level tank.

FNIX base assault also can reward experimental weapon, but still requires having first level 25 character to enable Experimental drop.

You can install any of the mod that included Faster mod, which very quickly level up rivals, regional threat and Fnix base. This mod is also merged with the mod called Tweaks2 which will level up you characted about 2.5 times faster than normal among others.

Just search for Generation Zero Mods (over 40 mods), which currently have 52 mods. You can also request or post your questions on the Post section, which is answered within 24 hours by the modder AleNex.

You can disable the mod after getting what you need.

but does the rival still have to be level 4 and do I actually have to raid a fnix base to a experimental weapon

Rivals at any level has a chance to drop good machine drops, including experimental weapon. There is no proof that level 4 has better chance than level 1, but level 4 is harder to destroy.
