When to Destroy a FNIX base?
Ok, I know how to destroy them, and I know how to get into the little bunker area to get the co-ordinates for Reaper or Vulture .. I was just wondering should I leave the base alone as it may 'refresh' itself for later, keeping a location for more co-ordinates .. or just destroy it after I've got the co-ordinates?

Thanks for info in advance :)

If you do defense missions bases will spawn and level up rapidly.

This is correct. To get everything exit the hatch and finish off base.

Thanks, both :)

Interesting note .. after I killed the Reaper I got the co-ordinates for, I went back to the base and it had partially 'refreshed' .. 2 Shields instead of 4, and after taking out those shields, I was able to go into the little bunker again and get the co-ordinates for a Vulture .. it seems you can keep a FNIX base going by not destroying it.

I did destroy this one in the end, once I got the Vulture co-ords, as I have a second base at level 3 in the same region.
I will try and see if I can get the co-ords multiple times this way from this second base :)

you can spawn a reaper and a vulture at the same time every time you go into the hatch. no need to leave and re-enter

Interesting exploit.

It is not an exploit. It has been like this since the control points became a thing. The the base will start rebuilding if you leave before destroying it completely.. You get no rewards and you should....

Is it? I haven't read that in any of the notes.

Yeh, I saw that, but decided to spawn just the Reaper, as it was my first one :)

Since the control points were added, and the resistance base was destroyed, this is how it has been. You can do a search for old topics on it.

NICE! :happy_yeti:

Before the reaper came on the map, getting as close to all 64 rivals to level 4 was a thing in friend's co-ops. (there was a reason for this) So I had to destroy a rival just so the reaper would have a chance to spawn.

It spawned in the Boo industrial complex and I fought it solo. I still have the save file of that day. :crying_yeti:

Those that know, it is the same tank that spawns there with the harvester.

More than 2 hours real time battle. A lot of changes since. :crying_yeti:

I could, but I might not, you've filled in the blanks :)

Yeh, about 2 hours here too! .. I was wondering if the thing would ever die!

I'm solo, so all this is done myside as solo, the Boo spawn is handy, as you have good places to duck and cover, which is always handy.

The Reaper was fun, I like that main attack it does, but I did a Vulture today, and got to say, that was the more interesting fight with the airdrops.
