What happens next? (after end credits)
I've now finished the main game. After I put a box in a main computer, the AI asked me to leave the base. Then the credits came. Then a message came up saying that I'm now level 25 (i´m 31) and that I can continue under FNIX bases, BUT maybe I should play the DLC instead? Is the game now open world, with no story and just "grind"? Are the DLCs worth it? What order would you recommend? I'll be honest: The story of GZ wasn't exactly a standout but I've had a lot of fun for 90 hours straight. It has to go on :D

That message is a reminder that you can now do the Showdown update missions. The first mission is to find a level 3 Fnix base with a hatch (hover your mouser over a Fnix base and if you see an icon of the hatch, it means that is the right one). Destroy all its generators, enter the hatch and meet Veronika to trigger the first mission. Listen attentively with the dialogues and follow the clue from then on.

There are bugged missions so manually backup you save files (I recommend once before every new mission stage) so you can reload previous stage before the bug, which usually fix the bug.

Hopefully, the January hot fix could fix them along with other bugs and game issues the Showdown update had introduced.

You can opt not to do the Showdown mission and play DLC missions instead if you have Alpine Unrest or Fnix Rising.

If you are done with all your missions then the map will start to spawn machines in different places on the map. I agree, the two next DLCs would be the Alpine Unrest and the fnix rising, in that order. The first one adds to the map size and has more missions and the 2nd one adds more missions back on the mainland.

I enjoyed exploring to collect all the collectibles on the map, but you can combine hunting for machines with exploring and other times hide from the machines to just explore.

All the other DLCs give you more options on how you play the game. I have liked the motorbikes, runner upgrades, remote turrets, and RPG. It is the only weapon I carry out of owning all the DLCs, but we all have our tastes. :happy_yeti:

I knew I should have added, "the only DLC weapon I carry". :laughing_yeti:

I carry the PVG 90 level 6 with the 8X16 scope and IR optics and level 5 mag. Chambered with an AP round but I carry both AP and FMJ. And it is not my primary. I also carry the level 6 AG4 (primary) and the level 6 M46.....With the RPG.

I like the RPG because of the zoom able scope and I added the IR/OPV dual view optics, it makes for a nice way to start a fight. :happy_yeti: But I do miss the versatility of the base game launchers. I would carry a level 5 loaded with EMP and a level 6 with explosive rounds. Reposition as I reloaded both for the next shot. :happy_yeti:
