but it's an open ended game, with no end game stuff to do other than farm reaper/rivals, and base assault and defense. which are so mundane that i could do it in my sleep.
if it wasn't for a mod that got rid of the ridiculous build limits for bases, i would have stopped playing after i got the constant explosions from a bugged mission.
I personally like it that way, especially with this game.
They could make this a franchise - have a new country/setting where the machines spread all over the world.
Not likely to happen. They can't even introduce a new DLC that will open up DLC island 2 (there are 4).
The devs are just capable of introducing "procedural development" contents, things that repeat and repeat themselves, like base attack and defense. and the repeatable procedural missions introduced recently.
It's an "open" ending as they say.
