Control point.
Hi All.

I came across a control point and i need the gold coin to take control to open up the control point, the thing is i have looked in steam store and GZ home web sight and can not find anywhere where to buy the gold coins.

Have i missed something that a game requires us to spend real money to buy in-game currency, to have no way of buying the gold coins.

Most games have a link to where to buy there in-game currency etc, but where is GZ link any help please.

You don't buy command points or token. You liberate Fnix base to earn 10-20 points and you need 20 points to set up your base after liberating it. Most of the time you'd need to liberate 2 Finx bases to earn a total of 20 points.

you get enough commando points. once you have 4 home bases. 3 bases remain neutral. and will always base to FINX. if you destroy them you get points again and again. maybe bases will be set up in other regions in the future. then you can put them to good use. and another one. you should destroy these 3 FINX bases again and again. you get cement and uranium and some other material.

Thank for replies i had liberated a FINX bases and never got tokens.

In fact this is my second play through and clocked up over 500+ hours play, the first time i completed the whole FINX missions and never got tokens then as i though you had to buy them that's why i ask about the tokens.

I wonder why on my first play through i never got any tokens (Maybe a bug), on saying that i never came across any control points either, the only bases i had then were the "Ring Fort" and the one on top of a mountain also not sure if a base the Hotel hideout.

Again i thank you for replies and the token info, FYI i do have all main and add-ons DLC contents.

The Base Assault bug Hotfix was released on May 2 which supposed to have fixed the repeatable mission bug and other bugs, but if you played your game after the update and still could not get command points after destroying Fnix base, this could mean a new bug that affects some players.

Just to clarify, I am referring to Fnix bases in the Forest Region (without the "A" symbol). Finx bases in other regions, at the moment, do not provide command points be destroying them.

Yes i did get that fix when i played the first run and now on second will see how i get on when i take down another FINX base.

Thanks again for help.

Fnix bases and repeatable base mission can be activate by destroying bots to increase threat level and threat score, Avoid destroying leveled rivals as they drastically lower threat level and score. If you have an active base mission at Tyloveden homebase (the one "A" symbol), you can do it even on easy mode which should activate one or two Fnix bases.

Thank you i will bear this info in mind.

I know i said in my first play through i had the control point on the mountain top, then it was a electronic lorry where you build defences around it, well i'm back there but this time it's a FINX base with what looks like a red glowing drill thing with a spinning weather vain on top and i'm having trouble destroying or taking over, i did clear out all bots and most of the walls.

Assuming when all walls are destroyed and i hope the red thing the base will become a control point, well i hope that's right, did you get this far.

Reminder: The first part of liberating a Fnix base is to destroy the four generators, and second part is to destroy the Fnix command center. Your bullets will have not effect on it while is still glowing red and you'd just be wasting your ammo. Wait for the glow to briefly disappear then shoot. In short treat it similar to a reaper: destroy the four shield generators and you can take it down.

it also costs 10 tokens, if you fail a defense mission and want to restore your defense center

No im not wasting bullets on the red thing i'm just knocking down the walls with sledge hammer now and again while clearing out surrounding areas, there were no generators around the base and all other gennies in other areas are destroyed.

I still have the big gun and maybe a couple of other Finx installations will take them out in today play shortly.

Again thanks for help.

I now have 50 command points but cannot use them. I'm in a co-op but not the lead player. All permissions have been ticked by the lead payer but still the bases do not light up when I try to claim them. Perhaps the devs need to sort out the bugs before selling a pitch fork dlc.

Maybe they will but when, good luck with that.

I still have not received a single point though i have knocked out the minority of FINX installations not this play through or my first time play through, i guess they don't give them out to solo players.

I'm getting Command Points every time we destroy a FNIX Base but as I'm not the lead player I can't use them. It's a bit frustrating and spoiling a pretty good game.

Guys keep in mind that a whole other team can be creating the DLCs while the main team continues to clean up the game. Just because they put out a DLC does not mean they take time from the main game. People in the Ark community made the same assumption long ago and were wrong.
Also keep in mind that an artist does not work on bugs that is what the programmer does. Just like you have a house built by multiple professionals. The Framer would never do the wiring, house may burn down if he did.
