Please add silencer for the 50 cal. sniper, because it's loudly annoying

kidding? this is the best railgun sound ever, just as if the rifle was alive, so sharp, so "mechanic", so READY - U have the feeling that you are holding in your hands something very powerfull ;))) the sound speaks for itself - the moment you first found the 50 cal. is a turning point in this game imo - and from now on the predator becomes prey...
I doubt if anyone will listen cuz this thread isn't new and several players were asking the same thing earlier on this forum - without luck.
maybe think of it as a feature... it not so bad is it? / cheers

i coulda swore i found a sniper rifle silencer. It cant be equipped on the 50cal?

The sound is not bad at all, but is making me reduce the volume of the game in the Audio settings. Some people like loud noises, others - don't.

I did some quick research online, and they in fact, do exist. Huh, I never knew that.

Still though, I love the sound of a 50 cal rifle going boom personally.

i had no idea this game had experimental weapons. I just wiped out like all 30 of the elites that were spawned all over the map.

I got experimental MG50 machine gun (or whatever its called). This is by far the best so far. The rounds chain damage nearby robots and it makes the base defense missions a joke. You can aim at one enemy and take down the whole mob of 4. Its not OP tho ive still had some crazy close calls and i also die alot. So its just friggen dope
I got experimental PVG-90 (the 50 cal sniper rifle)
i got experimental pump shotgun (each pellet is a sticky explosive)
i got experimental klauk19 with 5star extended mag (says small chance of EMP blast but i honestly dont think it does anything)

I also got experimental AVG4 with 5star extended mag and it lights enemies on fire but i dont think its that good so i dont ever use it

I want to get experimental everything. This is so awesome. Does every single weapon have an experimental variant?

So if you do not like loud noises just TURN THEM DOWN, why do they need to add things into a game for silly things like that. Silenced Sniper Rifle is silly given you are already far out of harms way IF you are smart.
Perhaps they should remove all gunshot noise so that your poor little ears do not hurt, given your volume controls seem to be broken. LMAO.

March 2024 and that weapon is still annoyingly loud. When i turn the volume down, so i dont annoy my neighbors, especially when i play at night, i can barely hear anything else, because the rest is too silent now. and that rifle is still so much louder at those settings. And its not because thats a BFG, i mean i can barely hear the HUGE A$$ robots walking next ti me and shooting explosives and yet the rifle is still too loud.

It seems the game itself have a huge gradient between quiet and loud sounds. The result is you're lowering "effects" in options and loose quiet sounds.
Also, VERY strange approaching for sound for some guns... When i got Kpist and used silencer... I did -10% in "effects" 4 times - once on every fight. It's louder WITH silencer.

The volume of shots in the game is also annoying. You stop hearing your surroundings, which is very important. To notice the enemy earlier. I think the developers should make separate settings for the ambient volume and settings for the volume of shots. The only game in my library in which I constantly have to adjust the volume depending on the task (loud to explore the world and engage in battle less often. Quieter when you kill the Reaper or when defending and storming a base)

I remember when I was in service and the .50 Cal. I used was the M82 Barrett. there was a moment of thought given to a suppressor or silencer but it was thought to be the size of a 55 Gallon Drum...LOL one guy to carry the rifle and two guys in the front to hold up the suppressor. So much for that idea.....
