Doesn't the character have any ability to understand the concept of pulling themselves onto an object in order to climb over it?
One of the basic physic things humans have been doing for centuries.
Is the solid rock inside a cave or bunker? If not then I wouldn't use it as cover. Use the inside of reliable buildings as much as possible.
Those are the only times I've taken damage through walls.
I didn't say it was a related issue ..
No, wasn't any gas or explosive type of attacks at the time .. more like the odd collision mechanic which allows melee attacks through walls.
The single shot was from one of those shoulder rifles, it's the only weapon that can shoot this way, a bit like a rail gun, I was out in the open world, ducked behind a large boulder of what I presumed would be solid rock, like granite for example, and I was one-shotted through the rock .. which even a rail gun would not be able to do without either punching a plasma heated hole through the rock or completely obliterating the rock as the projectile impacted with it.
I also found that after the resistance update, hunters are able to jump much higher and are more aggressive with melee attacks. They can reach you on balconies now and pin you to walls.
