Game reset.

Hi,
Im sorry if this been asked before but i havnt been here for long. Me and my friend want to start over, Resetting everything. We have unistalled the game, Deleted all profiles. Deleted all the Avalanche directorys and re-installed the game. And still the "Plundra" i loaded with everything from where we left of the last game. How do we get rid of it ?? Sorry for my English but its not my first language ;-)

hELLO , try to disable the steam cloud ... maybe your old save are still there . and for you account avalanche you can try to contact the support for reset your account. or go to the forum and ask

It didnt work :-(

look for your Avalanche folder in Documents in the My Computer directory. Then find Gen Zero. delete the Gen Zero folder.

Restart your game. It should be a fresh restart.

You deleted the Avalanche folder in your My Documents and you disabled Steam Cloud and you still can't start a new game?

You probably have DLC content in there. Disabling weapon DLC's or deleting that content from Plundra will get you where you want? For me it was no problem . I disabled the weapon pack CLC's and deleted the my documents files and started again. It all checked out, as Plundra was empty. I started again for the 5th time after completing the storyline and this time I decided that I wanted to play without the DLC's.

As @Bando mentioned if you are talking about DLC items, they will not go away until you disable your DLC. But if you are saying even non-DLC items show on storage after you deleted your save files, disabled Steam cloud and start a new game? This is not possible from happening.

May I ask for the names of the save files you deleted? From which folder were they located?

Can you say if non-dlc items also show up in the storage or only DLC items?

Now its only DLC items so ill just take them out of the plundra. Thanks for the help :-)

Turn off steam cloud save/backup.
Look in windows file explorer
click on this PC
click on documents,
click on Avalanche Studios
click on GenerationZero
click on saves
click on long string of numbers folder
delete everything in that folder

Start the game.

It should be back to a fresh game. Doesn't matter if you have DLCs or not. There are only 2 very small files that are your game world and if those are gone, the game is rest to the start.
